Privacy statement Dutch Welsh Corgi Association
The Dutch Welsh Corgi Association (DWCA) considers the protection of your (online) privacy important and ensures that your personal information is protected. For this reason, all reasonable and legally required precautions have been taken to protect the personal data you have provided to the association.

Only with your explicit consent does the Dutch Welsh Corgi Association (DWCA) processing your personal data (gender, initials, name, address, postal code, place of residence, date of birth, e-mail address, bank account number and telephone number) with care.

Use of data
Access to your personal information is limited to prevent unauthorized access, alteration or misuse and is only allowed to members appointed by the association to perform the minimum necessary actions to be able to implement the membership agreement with it
members as an association.  

Your personal data will not be used for other purposes. 

Some personal details (name, initials and residence) are mentioned in the newsletter of the association for your application for membership, as well as for the admission as a member by the board. 

The association can also keep an overview with results at exhibitions or sporting events. Here can be mentioned pictures of dogs and their names, as well as the name of the owner. If you do not want your details or that of your dog to be mentioned, you can inform us by email as mentioned on the website. We will then delete your data as soon as possible. 

Communication from the members administration, the board or other bodies of the association takes place in the first instance using your e-mail address, the same applies to the distribution of the newsletter of the association. 

The association is in accordance with art. 10 HR of the Dutch Kennelclub obliges to submit the list of members once a year to the Dutch Kennelclub ‘Raad van Beheer op Kynologisch Gebied in Nederland’. This is a condition for membership of the Dutch Kennelclub. Transmission of this data will take place via a password-protected list. 

The association also uses “MailChimp”, a tool that makes it possible to create and send newsletters, manage the mailing list of the association and easily integrate the application forms on the website of the association. 

After cancellation or disqualification from membership, your membership details will be destroyed. Any warnings or measures taken against the members of the association are permanently archived in the name of the (former) member. 

Right of inspection, correction, removal
If you fill in a contact or registration form on the website, or send us an e-mail, the data you send the DWCA will be stored as long as this is required depending of the content of the form or e-mail and the complete answering and processing thereof.

The DWCA stores the data that you share with her via her website in a secure environment. You have the right to request access to and correction or deletion of your data at any time. You can submit this request via the contact page. To prevent abuse we will ask you to identify you adequately.
