About the Dutch Welsh Corgi Association?
The Dutch Welsh Corgi Association, sometimes abbreviated as DWCA, is a Dutch Breed Club for the Welsh Corgi Cardigan and Pembroke Welsh Corgi with an international character.

Goal
The Dutch Welsh Corgi Association has as goal the preservation and improvement of the breed Welsh Corgi Cardigan and breed Welsh Corgi Pembroke, the promotion of health and well-being of those breeds in general and the prevention and combating of genetic defects within this breeds in particular and promoting contact between breeders and enthusiasts of Welsh Corgis.

Knowledge
In addition, it’s important that the breeders have knowledge to talk on level about the Welsh Corgi Cardigan and Pembroke Welsh Corgi and have this knowledge up to date by attending lectures, workshops and courses which directly and / or indirectly associated with breeding, genetics, welfare and health.

Subscriber & Membership
You can at any time be a subscriber to the Newsletter, which contains information about both breeds, important news items, health articles and reports from important events.
To keep the high level of knowledge in the association, the association has a restriction on membership and can only be nominated on the basis of a recommendation of three members to the board.
